Everyone seems to like stories - both telling stories and hearing stories. People like stories because they often relate to them - stories help us feel; We might laugh, cry, empathize, or dream as we hear stories. The best thing about a story is that everyone has one. Everyone has a story that they can share; a story that never gets boring because it's always changing as people go through their days and have encounters with others.
How you see and relate to God each day is part of your story. Your story can help others. Your story can't be argued with because it's yours - so why not tell it? Through your story God can be glorified and others can come to know the hope He gives and the power He has.
