New Series: On Location

This past week, after our SOS update, I started a new series called “On Location,” which will run throughout the summer. Each week we will go to different places around the globe while focusing on God’s word and what it says about our lives. Some of the topics are Allowing God to invade your life, Strong Connections and Jesus sets People free. We started this 10 week series last week and learned the importance of A Strong Foundation and that a strong foundation is:
“Built on God’s Word,” and is “Strengthened by wise choices.”

Verses to reinforce these points:
Matthew 7:24-25 “All who listen to my instructions and follow them are wise, like a man who builds his house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents, and the floods rise and the storm winds beat against his house, it won’t collapse, for it is built on rock.”

Galatians 5:17 “The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict.”

Parents and Students: talk about these points and verses - help hold each other accountable and encourage one another.
