Continuing in our "On Location" series, we talked about how strong the connections are in the Eiffel Tower and how disastrous it would be if it was built with week connections. Like any structure, once we have a strong foundation, we must then build our lives with strong connections.
On Sunday you learned that:
Strong connections Support you.
So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NLT)
Strong connections Strengthen you.
A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT)
Strong connections Sustain you.
Reliable friends who do what they say are like cool drinks in sweltering heat—refreshing!
Proverbs 25:13 (MSG)
Do you have strong connections who will support, strengthen, and sustain you? Are you a strong connection for somebody else?
The Bible is clear in saying that we need other people to help us stay strong in our walks with Him.
Students and Parents: Reflect for a bit and see if you have some people in your life who will encourage you and hold you accountable! Take some time to pray for that person.
