SOS Memory Verses

We, as believers, are encouraged to hide God's word in our hearts. So each year all of the participants who go to SOS are required to memorize selected verses. Although this looks like a lot you have a few months to work on it. At our next team building, April 23 at 1pm We will study each of these verses. Get started on memorizing them now and say them to any leader when you have one completely memorized. You will get printed copies of these at the next team building, or you can get them from me anytime you're at the church.

SOS Memory Verses
Matthew 5:11-12
11 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Mark 10:45
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect…

1 Timothy 4:12
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Philippians 2:14
Do everything without grumbling or arguing.
